We are opening Buttenshaw Farm and The Haven on the same day in the area. Visit all three productive gardens for $20!

This garden shows the variety of produce that can be grown on a suburban block in a space that also caters to bees, chickens and has a lawn area for children to play and run around!
Garden owner Tim has used his front garden for more permanent plantings such as blueberries and a wide range of fruit trees. His chooks also enjoy this space where they are free to roam by day.
The backyard has a bee hive as well as some raised beds and an in ground veggie garden that provides a good amount of seasonal varieties in a relatively small space. This proves that you don’t need a large area to grow your own produce, you just need to start! Tim follows organic processes and enjoys experimenting with companion planting to get the best results from his garden.
