This terrace house garden of Wonderwings Fairy Shop creator Anne Atkins is full of surprises. Anne has transformed a derelict rooming house into a fascinating home with a garden that beckons as soon as you open the front door.

The garden is reached through the house. En route visitors are treated to a glimpse of Anne’s eclectic collection of whimsy - lifesize ‘old ladies’ who recline on a couch in the front room, fairy themed ornaments from the tiny to the huge and wax sculpture figures that call out for attention!

Towards the rear of the house the garden comes into full view, providing a serene, green inner city sanctuary. Working within the confines of a long and narrow space, a metal arch way promotes an illusion of width. Climbing roses, Chilean Jasmine and many other creepers weave their way up and over the frame. The magical feel carries through to the garden, which is dotted with ornaments and comes complete with chandelier! A thriving vegetable garden completes the picture.

Garden notes are written by the garden owners to describe their garden.
