Sandra McMahon designed her garden with an emphasis on the use of plant material for structure.
Woodcote is a large ‘garden of rooms’, where structure is achieved primarily through skillful planting design. Inspiration is drawn from Victoria’s High Country, Japanese design, Mediterranean design as well as from other sources. Seamless transition between these areas is the secret to the success of this garden.
There are water features and a rose and vegetable garden. Come and see the full range for yourself.
Some of the proceeds from this opening will be donated to the UN World Food Programme.
Woodcote is located on the lands of the Wurundjeri people. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
