Treetops is a young garden with several different areas for specialised plantings.
The driveway is lined with ornamental pears and Agapanthas leading to a gravel area with a fire pit and surrounded by low grevilleas and society garlic.
The back of the house is dedicated to Salvias and sedums. Wander down steps to a shaded area with azaleas quercifolia and wollemi pines and an embankment of wattles.
There are many box gums and Japanese maples with weeping cherries and a bed of red hot pokers and cannas. The garden will mature beautifully in a couple of years and is an ongoing development.
Some of the proceeds from this garden will be donated to Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Treetops is located on the lands of the Wurundjeri people. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
