The Old Presbytery of Clunes has been lovingly restored and the garden beautifully designed to enhance both the history and the terrain of the site.

Set over several levels down a gently sloping block, this garden has been created with sustainablility foremost, as the area has minimal rainfall.  To achieve a garden so lush and beautiful on such a scale with one monthly water is truly remarkable.

The Presbytery was built in 1905, so equally remarkable, was the herculean task the owners had of removing  truck loads of historical rubbish before they could begin. The owners have an interest in medicinal plants and have incorporated over 80 different herbs and medicinal plants in the garden. A guided tour of these will be conducted by the owner during the opening.

The garden is on several levels and overlooks the township of Clunes with intimate garden rooms having distinct styles of plantings with old world charm.
