This is a rambling old garden with great charm.

It was planted by a couple who loved native plants but who also grew an eclectic mix of plants, often from friends’ cuttings. The owner has lived there for many years and calls it her 'As I feel Garden'.

Meandering paths lead from one 'garden room' to another. The bush garden is filled with natives - acacias, casuarinas and a huge old eucalyptus which collectively attract a myriad of birdlife. There is a a large plantation of bamboo, as well as vegetable patches, a huge flowering rose, and a Japanese flowering cherry shading an outdoor seating area. Elsewhere cliveas, ginger and hydrangeas abound. Plants have been allowed to self-seed and thrive in the conditions they have chosen for themselves.

This is a very private, protected garden haven.

Award winning artist Jo Reitze will be painting in the garden on the weekend.

Garden notes are written by the garden owners to describe their garden.
