This peaceful, rambling garden lies on the banks of the Campaspe River and there are wonderful spots to view the water below. The garden has deep, colourful perennial beds as well as an abundance of roses. The large section of Bearded Iris is a joy to behold.
An enclosed veggie garden supplies the household and fruit trees are spaced around the garden.
The wandering paths close to the river lead to interesting areas and plantings so that the river seems to meld in with the garden.
The serenity of this garden is further enhanced by the wonderful old shady oaks dotted around the garden and the lawn adding a sense of timelessness and calm.
Some of the proceeds from this opening will be donated to the Redesdale Recreational Reserve Committee.
We're opening two other Redesdale gardens over this same weekend: Coliban Springs and Gibbards Crossing.
Rocklands is located on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung People. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
