This is a small garden created in 2019 around a new house and was designed by Tim Pilgrim of TP Gardens.
The front garden, facing west, has an intimate sitting area hidden from the street by plantings – perfect for a late afternoon drink.
The garden to the side of the house is viewed from a winding path leading to a patio to one side and the back garden. The garden is packed with lush plantings of exotic and native plants. There is a mix of perennials, small bushes, grasses and trees.
The colourful perennials contrast with the green and grey clipped foliage. Three Pyrus salicifolia are clipped into floating balls. The trees are surrounded by clipped westringia, floating grasses and colourful perennials. At the back of the house is a small vegetable garden and an antique bath under an Arch where the owner’s grandchildren play.
The garden is packed with plants which are exceptionally well combined so that there are areas of interest wherever you look.
Don't miss the opportunity to hear from garden designer, Tim pilgrim, who will be there on the Saturday morning talking about this garden.
A local community group will be selling plants and produce.
Some of the proceeds from this opening will be donated to the Trentham CFA.
