Lee began his interest in gardening five years ago and he started with four succulents and a few box plants. He now has hundreds!
He has created a formal collection of cloud topiary, bonsai, trimmed balls, succulents and cycads in large pots in a compact corner suburban block.
There are sculptures made by Lee, fishponds, a weeping mulberry and maple, black bamboo and a native grass tree. Water is collected from roof runoff and there is a work area for propagation.
Lee is a self-taught gardener and spends most of his time working in the garden.
Banool is also opening nearby over this same weekend.
Peaceful Heart is located on the lands of the Wurundjeri People. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
