Instagram Live - 'A Walk in the Garden' at Minemoorong - Part 1

Join regular host Stephen Read as he chats with Julie King at her expansive naturalistic garden, Minemoorong, at Kangaroo Ground.

While the interview ends early due to torrentail rain, Julie manages to show us much of the garden from the inside of the house - a testament to the importance of the visual connection between the house and garden.

Those who visited Minemoorong when it opened with OGV in 2016, will note the extensive renovation and rebuild of the family home in 2019 - a modern take on a farm homestead.

Julie tells Stephen how she modified the existing landscape and designed new garden beds, a water feature and a roof top garden to integrate the home into the landscape.

Further modifications have been required to accommodate two gorgeous border collie puppies, who you'll meet at the end of the tour!
