Lakithi is an oasis of lush lawns, shady trees and colourful beds leading to an expansive manmade lake in the heart of the Strathbogie Ranges. This stunning 3 hectare garden has been built on former paddocks and developed over 30 years by the owners.

There’s a series of garden rooms enclosed by hedges and stone walls with seasonal plantings and established trees that provide shelter from winds and shade from the harsh summer sun.

The garden should be ablaze with autumn colour in May, as the extensive plantings of Pin oaks, Silver Birches, Golden and Claret Ash, Acers and Medlars reveal their Autumn glory.

Some of the proceeds from this opening will be donated to the CFA.

Lakithi is located on the lands of the Taungurung People. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.

Extra Activities in the Area:

  • Great cafes in Yarck and Euroa
