The garden at Holly Cottage has been planted with the specific objective of providing forage for bees throughout the year. A large, sunny perennial border is planted with bold colours including salvias, roses, catmint, echinacea and dahlias, amongst many others. There are also shady spring borders established under large trees, and an enclosed vegetable garden with raised beds. Large lawn areas sweep throughout the garden, and hydrangeas and other shrubs line the garden’s boundaries.
There will be a sausage sizzle, cakes and tea and coffee available at the opening.
