With stunning views across the Warramates to Healesville and the Kinglake Ranges, the bulk of the garden sits behind the home to capture these sweeping views.
While the front garden is quite mature, the rear garden features a recycled boardwalk that follows an extensive dry creek bed. Plantings are predominately native in this area, although the fifty roses that were originally in the front garden when the current owners arrived have been moved into the back garden. The garden receives no irrigation other than rain.
Some of the proceeds from this opening will be donated to Villa Maria.
Note: the nearest toilets are 5km away at the Gruyere reserve.
