This well-established garden has evolved over the past 35 years.
Upon entry, you sense its peaceful qualities with rolling green lawns and immaculately maintained planting areas. From every angle there is a vista that holds enchantment and interest.
The voids and garden beds are wonderfully balanced throughout the landscape. The lake/billabong is the central focus surrounded by large rocks and stepping stones, and is home to many aquatic birds, fish and plants.
The planting is a mix of native – particularly around the billabong – and exotic species. The garden includes a fern walk, rose garden and many other features of delight.
On the open day there will be a jazz band and coffee wagon. This garden has featured numerous times on the ABC's Gardening Australia, so is well known.
