This truly tropical paradise recently starred in Australian House and Garden magazine August 2018 edition. Development of the garden commenced 10 years ago and is entirely the concept of the owner, with lushly planted and many different areas that are wholly or partially hidden from each other.

Throughout there is a wonderful use of decking, pathways, paved areas and three ornamental pond areas. Some visual ‘surprises’ include features such as beautiful pots, water features and a large reclining Buddah. The driveway fence is completely covered with Star Jasmine, and the garden has abundant plantings of bromeliads, palms, agaves, liriopes, Bird of Paradise and Golden Chalice.

This garden is wondrous from the moment one steps through the front gate.

Visitors to the open garden can also purchase Photographer John Couch’s works.

Other places of interest which you may wish to visit as part of your visit to the open garden include:

  • Gardenworld, Springvale Road, Braeside – Nursery, garden centre, water gardens and cafe
  • Gill's Nursery, Bay Road, Cheltenham – Landscape and lifestyle centre

Visitors are advised that Bev Fox's garden will also be open this weekend at 6 Camelia Crescent, The Basin.
