This is a truly beautiful rustic garden enhanced by an old stone cottage and sheds.

The garden rambles and surprises at each turn, there are no straight lines to be seen, with stone walls and structures with a whimsical bent!

You will find a series of unusual cactus gardens and beyond here is another surprise (you'll have to visit to find out!)! Everything fits in beautifully with the gentleness of this garden.

The plantings are resilient, often old-world plants which suits this cottage, and the trees change with the seasons. The Paulownia is especially beautiful.

The autumn colour is stunning at this time of the year.

The Stones is located on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung People. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
