Designed by Andrew Stark, St. Mervyns is a beautifully maintained formal garden with highly stylised plantings of buxus, laurel, magnolias, gardenias, jasmine and ornamental pears. Spring flowers and blossoms feature against the overwhelming impact of green provided throughout the year by the buxus and jasmine hedging. Fragrance is a highlight - imparted by flowering magnolias, murrayas, gardenias, star jasmine and Japanese jasmine.

An impressive selection of imported urns and pots from Provence and Spain are planted with topiary buxus. The garden hosts many water features, statues and ornamentation to highlight key areas of interest.

Garden designer Andrew Stark will be in the garden all weekend.

Espresso coffee will be available to purchase.

The garden is opening in support of the Will Murray Trust - which was set up to assist the family of 14-year-old local boy Will Murray who suffered a severe spinal cord injury after a diving accident earlier this year.

Garden notes are written by the garden owners to describe their garden. Download and print to bring when you visit the garden.
