This garden of renowned gardens/plants author Sarah Guest, directly opposite Yarra Park and the MCG, first opened with Victoria's Gardens Scheme in 1987.

She transformed a derelict area into a garden which includes camellias and an eclectic mix of pot-grown plants, wild cyclamen being a particular favourite.

Although this is a pocket handkerchief garden Sarah has made clever use of the largely shady area and espaliered camellias are used to distract the eye.

Sarah's unique collection of small early Australian timber boxes will be on display in her sitting room and she will be available all weekend to chat with visitors.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits.
