This communal garden is managed and maintained by the twenty households that are members of the Murundaka Cohousing Community. The space mixes productive and ornamental gardening with social spaces for the families who live at Murundaka. Chooks, vegetables, fruit trees, kids’ play areas and an extensive compost system all perform key roles within this unique system.
Come and learn about how Murundaka collectively manage their garden in this very unique environment.
Please note: Over 50% of the garden is wheelchair and pram accessible, but there is a grassed slope which might be difficult for some.
