Instagram Live: 'A Walk in the Garden' at Melrose
Watch the interview from our Instagram Live series ‘A Walk in the Garden’, hosted by landscape designer and OGV Committee member Stephen Read on Saturday 4th July.
Stephen interviews landscape designer, Deborah Hambleton as she takes us on a guided tour through her Mediterranean-inspired private garden 'Melrose' at Malmsbury in Central Victoria.
Stephen and Deborah chat about the history of the garden's development, how original parts of the house have been preserved in the garden and some of the garden influences from India, the Middle East and Mediterranean. Deborah introduces us to her chooks and shows some of her clever tips in the veggie patch, plus more insight into her beautiful courtyard garden and pool with naturalistic planting. So much to see and talk about!
