This suburban block is a wonderful example of how a garden can be created from a very challenging site. It is set on a north-facing steep slope, and utilises a number of tiers and a boardwalk to bring visitors on a journey through a delightful mix of deciduous trees, perennials and succulents. Many of the plantings are used in local floral arts displays. A large deck gives visitors a chance to have a bird’s-eye view over the garden.
There will also be plants and floral art for sale.
The opening is supporting the E.W.Tipping Foundation. See https://www.tipping.org.au
