Garden owners, Denise and Russ, designed and built this garden starting with an empty sheep paddock 18 years ago and love to share their garden story.

Meander down the leafy path under birches, maples and flowering cherries to find beautiful vistas appearing through the garden gate.  Follow the path beside gardens of perennials, lilies, roses, peonies and hydrangea but don’t forget to explore the Japanese courtyard or the hidden garden. Arrival on the generous shade dappled lawn brings new vistas of native garden nestled under the majestic Lemon Scented Gum.

The owners folly is a generous shade house, filled with hosta, begonia, clematis and  fuchsia is situated in the entertainment courtyard.  For those interested in sustainable living there is a large vegetable garden and small orchard to visit as well.

There will be a gallery with art for sale and plants grown by the garden owners for sale.

Some of the proceeds from this opening will be donated to the Red Cross Blood Donations.

Please note: Public toilets are located at the Community Centre and Lions Park in Moriac.

Greenfield is located on the lands of the Wadawurrung People. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
