Indoor Oasis Competition
Studies show indoor plants have health benefits ranging from detoxfiying and oxgenating the air, through to reducing our stess levels.
But mostly they just look great - especially when placed thoughtfully together to form an oasis in a nook or room in your home.
House plants can be chosen for their architectural quality, foliage, flowers or their trailing or climbing growth habit - and there's no end to the creative ways they can be grouped to enhance the design of an indoor space.
If you love to care for and decorate your home with plants to create your own indoor oasis, or know someone who does, this competition is for you!
For the month of June we’re asking you to send in pictures of a home indoor oasis in Victoria that you love. Send us a high resolution photo (min 500KB) via email rather than social media. Include a quick note describing which room of the house it’s in, the names of the plants, and where in Victoria it is.
The competition is open to all home gardeners who live in Victoria. Professional gardeners are welcome to send in images for inspirational purposes, and for us to post on social media.
The winner will receive indoor plant guru Jason Chongue’s book Plant Society: Create an Indoor Oasis for your Urban Space.
Entries close at 5pm on Tuesday 30 June 2020, and Jason will be judging the winner...so fire away!
