Huge ‘living bird’ sculptures look down over the garden through giant Westringia (Coastal Rosemary) balls. Three stunning beach houses built with a ‘family compound’ are set within a contiguous, undulating landscape designed by Fiona Brockhoff Design. This is a garden haven which features a fabulous range of coastal native plants: Banksia praemorsa (Cut-leaf Banksia), Westringia, Agonis flexuosa (Willow Myrtle) and mass-planted coastal grasses, including Phormium tenax (New Zealand Flax).
A superb relationship exists between the pool, buildings and gardens which incorporate extensive garden ‘rooms’.
Fiona Brockhoff will be at the garden on Saturday afternoon to meet with visitors from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.
Visitors are advised that two other gardens by Fiona Brockhoff Design will also be open on the Mornington Peninsula this weekend:
- Karkalla, 10 Keating Avenue, Sorrento
- Main Ridge Garden, 180 Barkers Road, Main Ridge (near Red Hill)
